Please read the following information carefully as it contains IMPORTANT parking information.
Check-in opens at 0430 – the first shuttle bus is at 0430 & the last shuttle before the race starts, will be at 0600

PARKING: Limited parking is available around the Ka’ala Elementary School, alternate parking is available at the following locations:
We ask that anyone with Military Base access utilize OPTION 3 for parking to alleviate some of the parking in town.
PARKING LOCATION 1 – Leilehua High School - 1515 California Ave A, Wahiawa, HI 96786. The High School was kind enough to allow us to use their school lot. However, they have an event at 4pm so have asked for us to clear the lot by 3:30.
PARKING LOCATION 2 – Wahiawa Transit Center West – Parking on top of the Bus Depot and along the Public parking on the street will be open to all. Additionally, First Hawaiian Bank has said we could utilize their parking lot on the other side of Lehua Street.
PARKING LOCATION 3 – MILITARY BASE ACCESS REQUIRED – NCTAMS PAC BASE - Chariot Ln, Wahiawa HI 96789. If you have access to military facilities, we ask that you utilize this lot as it offers the most space for parking. Additionally, make sure you have your ID on you when you return to the Base. The Van driver will be checking IDs as they return to the Base.
A Shuttle Service will begin operation at 0430 to bring runners to Ka’Ala Elementary School. Shuttle service will be suspended at 0615 for the safety of the runners during the race start, but will resume bringing you back to your vehicles around 0700. The Shuttle will pick runners up at the following locations every 10-15 minutes.
SHUTTLE STOP LOCATION 1 – The Entrance to Leilehua High School Parking Lot.
SHUTTLE STOP LOCATION 2 – Corner of Center Street and Lehua Street.
SHUTTLE STOP LOCATION 3 – Building 235 parking lot entrance.
Shuttle Service will remain open for the first two locations through the end of the Pineapple Festival at 5pm. Shuttle Service for Chariot Ln Parking on NCTAMS BASE will be suspended at 11am.

BACK TO A TRUE TRADITION!!
We are excited to announce that we have teamed up with the Pineapple Festival again!! Bringing back a tradition going back 4 decades!! Following the Race, The Pineapple Festival will be held at Ka’Ala Elementary School from 10am-3pm. They will have tons of fun activities to explore. everything from a paper airplane contest sponsored by Hawaiian Airlines, a Pineapple Baking Contest, Dozens of Food trucks and Food Vendors, and much much more!!

0400 - Parking Lots open
0430 – Shuttle Service will begin picking up from the Shuttle Stop Locations
0445 – Race registration and check-in desk will open up. There is no need to check in if you have already received your Packet.
0600 – Opening Ceremony and Safety Brief
0615 – Shuttle Service Suspended.
0620 – Racers Begin Lining up at the Start Line.
0630 – RACE BEGIN
0700 – Shuttle Service resumes.
0815 – Begin Awards Presentation
1000 - Pineapple Festival Starts
1030 – Last Transport shuttle to NCTAMS BASE PARKING LOT

Running Route: Ka'Ala Elementary School to Wahiwa and Pineapple Fields

From Ka'Ala Elementary School, begin your run by heading east on California Avenue. Here, you'll find yourself surrounded by lush greenery and vibrant tropical flowers, immediately setting the tone for an enchanting run. As you stride through this peaceful neighborhood, feel your worries slip away and enjoy the tranquility that the early morning hours offer.
Continuing along California Avenue, you will soon encounter a gentle incline that signals your entry into the rolling hills of Wahiawa. Embrace the challenge, for these hills will not only test your endurance but also provide breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Glimpses of distant mountains, verdant valleys, and the sparkling blue Pacific Ocean on the horizon will reward your efforts and fuel your determination.
As you conquer these undulating hills, you'll soon find yourself descending into the heart of Wahiawa town. Embrace the spirited atmosphere as you navigate through its cheerful streets filled with quaint shops, local boutiques, and charming cafes. Take a moment to appreciate the unique architecture that blends modernity with the town's rich history.
Leaving the town behind, the route now guides you towards the famous pineapple fields that Wahiawa is renowned for. Completing the loop through the pineapple fields, retrace your steps to head back towards Ka'Ala Elementary School.
